RAP RIVER RUN 5K--2016
Thank you #TeamBCMF for another amazing race!
We are so proud of everyone that came out to participate in the Rap River Run this weekend! It was a hot and muggy morning, but we all crossed the finish line! BE PROUD. Our team won the spirit award with Stephanie Powell placing 2nd, Maria and I placing 3rd, and Ally Summers placing 4th in our age group!
Thank you for all of those who came out (& made gracious donations) and supported the children at the RAP house. The RAP house, short for runaway alternatives project, is Pasco Counties shelters for youths who runaway, regularly skip school, and are in between foster care placements. The RAP house was my home for 2 years when I was fifteenth, so when I say it means a lot it truly does mean A LOT! My experience at the RAP house made me who I am today and I am so grateful for it. Great places and events like this really helps someone out.
Not only are we thankful for the support you all brought to the race for the children, but for OUR gym!
Without you there is no BCMF.
